Religious School

Shalom School is a supplementary religious school in Savannah, Georgia, jointly sponsored by Congregations Agudath Achim and Mickve Israel. It is one of the few religious schools in the United States to successfully serve the children and families of both Conservative and Reform Congregations.

The purpose of Shalom School is to provide a comprehensive Jewish education for children from pre-kindergarten through high school. Programs are designed to meet the needs of all students and to help them achieve the goals set by the Shalom School Board and the congregational leadership.

Youth Programs

We pride ourselves on welcoming young families into our congregation and providing them with a wide variety of ways and means to participate in our congregation.

We host a variety of programs for our middle school students, sometimes along with BBYO and other times, just through Mickve Israel. Please check our calendar for upcoming events. Post Bnei Mitzvah students are also invited to co-lead our Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur Family Services with Rabbi Haas
