Friday, October 18, 2024 • 16 Tishrei 5785
5:30 PM - 8:00 PMMickve IsraelJoin us this year to uniquely celebrate
Sukkot and Simchat Torah as a community! We will journey through the Torah with opportunities to express our creativity and make meaningful connections to our sacred texts. We will begin with Genesis at our Sukkah and travel to different parts of our building as we eat, sing, pray and perform parts of Kabbalat Shabbat services. Along the way we will stop to celebrate Consecration and enjoy a cookout prepared by the Men of Mickve Israel.
Consecration celebrates the beginning of
a child’s formal Jewish education.
Traditionally this would begin at the time
of kindergarten, but in today’s world there are many entry points for young people as they begin their Jewish journey. If your child is able to participate in Consecration, we would love for you to be our honored guests! To participate in Consecration and dinner at no cost, please email Kt Celiz at KtCeliz@MickveIsrael.org
