Jews in the Civil Rights Movement: Dinner and Program

The American Jewish community had a role to play in the growing Civil Rights Movement of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. Reform Jewish rabbis, leaders, and congregants had to look to the Torah and to Jewish ethics for guidance.
