There are several well established funds that you can choose to direct your contribution.
Archives Fund: Used to assist in the expense of maintaining our historical archives at the Georgia Historical Society.
George & Julia Solomons Memorial Fund (Rabbi’s Discretionary fund)
Norman G. Hirsch URJ Camp Scholarship Fund: Scholarship Fund for Campers
Jean E. Mopper Living Memorial Fund: A restricted fund used for presenting guest lecturers or events during a Sabbath program or for other needs identified by the Rabbi.
Social Action Fund: Includes Backpack Buddies and Congregations in Service and other Social Action projects.
Museum Fund: A restricted fund used for enhancing, maintaining and expanding the Temple museum.
Military Outreach Fund: Used for aid and engagement of members of the military.
Permanent Fund: Started in 1849, this fund is to serve the congregation by incorporating all of the annual earned income into the Temple operating funds.
Building Maintenance Fund: Contributes to the upkeep and maintenance of our historic sanctuary building.
Friends of Mickve Israel
General Fund: Helps with day-to-day operating expenses.
