Congregation Mickve Israel is a Reform synagogue in the heart of the Historic District of Savannah, Georgia.  Our congregation was founded in 1733, just a few months after General James Oglethorpe founded the colony of Georgia.

We are the only neo-Gothic style synagogue in America.  In our tradition of Southern Jewish hospitality, we annually welcome thousands of visitors from all over the world to Mickve Israel.

We offer tours of our historic sanctuary and museum, and hold worship services on Sabbath and Jewish holidays.

Congregation Mickve Israel is a member of the Union for Reform Judaism and the Coastal Museums Association.
